Born in the Summer of Love, in London, and raised into a perfectly dysfunctional middle class suburban family, I always knew I didn’t want to grow up and be like the adults around me.
“What do you want to do when you grow up?” My mother asked.
“Play!” I said.
“You can’t. Life’s a struggle. Life’s full of responsibilities, it’s tough, you have to work hard. “My mother replied.
“And be miserable like all you adults?” I said.
I got hit for that. I got hit quite a lot. But I was slightly obnoxious and free spirited even back then.
Eventually, at 28 years young, after many jobs in many different fields, and much hedonism and mayhem, I stumbled into the world of acting. What a ride I had for 22 years. After studying at the Royal Central school of speech and drama, and four years of acting in London, I left for Hollywood. I got my break, after a few years of acting in bit parts and commercials, in a movie called National Treasure. I then continued to play bad guys for many years after. I killed many and died many times. At 38 years old I started to write poems and books, and I also started to paint. I was now earning my way through life Playing.
I have 15 books on amazon, one just finished, another being written, and five screen plays completed. Over the years I have sold 160 paintings. My other journey in life, my conscious journey, my spiritual quest, started in 2005 and then quickened when I found the writings of Eckhart Tolle. And then in 2015 I sat in ceremony with plant medicines for the first time. After my huge heart opening experience, and shift of consciousness, I said, “I just wanted to live in nature and paint the word love.”
In 2017 I left Hollywood for Topanga, went to college and studied spiritual psychology, wrote movie scripts, more books, quit acting, and continued painted my Love paintings.
Most who live in Topanga knows my love stickers. I have given out 83,000 of them. My purpose in life is love. This is my journey. My latest books are all about love. I’m just a little boy in love with play. And right now in life I am learning to love all over again. These paintings are full of my child, his love for life, his love for play, and his newfound love for love.
